About us

10th Perthshire Scout Group was established way back in 1909. It is testament to the enthusiasm and commitment of our young people, leaders and volunteers that well over a century later we are still going strong, now welcoming as many as 250 girls and boys aged 6 to 18 to Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer groups every week.

We are led by a hard working team of male and female volunteer leaders and supported by a great group of young leaders.  The team organise fun, challenge and life-changing adventure for our young people, with events including weekly meetings, day trips, weekend camps and even the opportunity to travel abroad to international events.

We are proud to be part of the international Scout Movement, with its a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills that aims to support young people in their physical, mental, and spiritual development so that they may play constructive roles in society.

Squirrels are an introduction to Cub Scouts and move onto joining Beavers when they are old enough. The one hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.
