Around 70 Cubs, Scouts and leaders from the 10th attended the Rememberance Service at Perth North Church.
Thank you very much to all our generous donors Age Less Beauty, Murrayshall Golf, Logs'n'Stuff, Graham & Sibbald, Tay Valley Vets, www.achnahanat.com, King James VI golf, Scott McGregor, Aldi, Dave Mackay and SSE and of course to all the Cub families who bid on our items.
We are delighted to report that Cubs have raised £1000 towards the cost of our new extension!
Some of the Cubs visited Scottish Charity Air Ambulance this week to present them with a cheque for £1000.
The Cubs raised this fantastic amount by doing a sponsored crate climb, managing between them to climb the equivalent height of Kinnoull Hill. Well done Cubs!
The guys at SCAA were fantastic and let the Cubs try out their helicopter for size and answered loads of questions.
On October 19th & 20th over 30 of our Cubs and Scouts took part in the annual Jamboree On The Air and Jamboree On The Internet.
WIth The Help of Local Radio Amateurs we set up our own radio station
we also had a few computers connected to the internet enabling the cubs and Scouts to chat with other Scouts around the World.
"It Was an amazing experience talking to people of all nationalities and from over the world over the radio and computers. We talked to over 50 countires including Austrailia, USA and Antarctica."
