Cub Uniform

The Cub uniform is a green sweatshirt which is worn with the Group neckie.

The sweatshirt can be purchased from Aitken and Niven in Perth, the Glasgow Scout Shop http://www.glasgowscoutshop.com or from the main UK Scoutshop http://www.scoutshops.com                                 (both Scout shops are cheaper than A&N even with the postage cost added)

Cubs can wear any comfortable trousers and shoes or trainers on normal meeting nights but for trips or evenings out they should wear smart school trousers and shoes.

Optional extras that can be purchased from the above suppliers are a green polo shirt to wear under the sweatshirt and navy blue scout utility trousers. We also have a 10th Perthshire Group polo shirt for wearing underneath uniform and hoody (for wearing at camp) available - please ask any of the Cub Team.

If they haven't been in Beavers, the Group neckie will be supplied when your child makes their Cub Promise, usually about 4 weeks after joining.

We hope to set up a uniform swap shop in the near future for recycling uniforms!

The image above shows where to position the most commonly used badges.

Please note that Cubs should NOT add any badges that they have bought themselves (eg. souvenir camp badges) as if we want the Cubs to wear a particular badge then the Pack will purchase them for everyone who was at that event/camp!!
